Dream
Fear · Imagination · Letting Go
I used to dream that I was in very high places. In my dreams, climbing up was easy, but suddenly I would realise that I didn’t know how to climb back down.
I remember the feeling of being high above everything, followed by the fear of falling.
This painting comes from those dreams. It captures that strange space between feeling free and feeling afraid — when you have climbed so far that you have to trust yourself and let go of the fear.
I still have the painting above my bed, where it has become a quiet reminder of those dreams.

The Way Back
Darkness · Light · Finding My Way
I painted this during one of the darkest periods of my life.
I needed to remind myself that darkness is never the whole story — that somewhere beyond it, there is always light.
The figure is walking through the darkness, but the light ahead becomes a guide. For me, it is also like walking through fire: even when the path is difficult, the light of the fire can show me the way back.
This painting is a reminder to myself that even in the darkest moments, there can be a light that leads us forward.
